Terms of Service

The terms that govern use of our website and managed service agreements.

Last Updated: January 1, 2026

These Terms of Service govern your use of the Baker IT Solutions website. Any managed IT services, support plans, or consulting work are governed separately by the Service Agreement you sign with us; where the two conflict, the signed agreement controls.

Use of this website

Content on this site is provided for general informational purposes and doesn’t itself create a service contract. You agree not to misuse the site, attempt to access it by unauthorized means, or interfere with its normal operation.

Service levels

  • Response and resolution times follow the tier defined in your signed Service Agreement
  • Planned maintenance windows are communicated at least 48 hours in advance where possible
  • Emergency and after-hours support is available according to your plan

Client responsibilities

You agree to provide accurate account and network information, maintain valid points of contact, and use the systems we manage in line with applicable law and your organization’s own acceptable-use policies.

Fees and payment

Services are billed according to the schedule in your Service Agreement. Late payments may be subject to a late fee of 1.5% per month and may result in suspension of support until the account is current.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Baker IT Solutions is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from service interruptions outside our reasonable control, including outages caused by third-party providers or force majeure events.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of [state/province], without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time; the effective date above reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of our services after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.
